Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: Personality & Health Issues
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel:

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (very closely related to the English Toy Spaniel) was officially recognized in Great Britain in 1945, and is derived from the standard King Charles Spaniel.  The Cavalier is distinguished from the King Charles by a flatter skull and longer muzzle.  The Cavalier's eyes are not as prominent, and its ears are set higher.  It has also recovered its hunting instincts and is taller and somewhat heavier than the King Charles.

Cavaliers are sweet, gentle, quiet and very affectionate.  They get along with strangers and other pets alike.  They are happy with a short or moderate walk daily.  Be sure to brush their coat at least once every two days.
