Ataxia: Loss of the dog's ability to co-ordinate muscle movements.  Ataxia can occur for a few days after a seizure, and/or as a side effect of anti-seizure medications, or ear infection.  Adjustment of your dog's medication and reduced exercise can help alleviate Ataxia.

Throat:
Oesophageal Achalasia (Wire-Haired Terrier): A disorder in which the esophagus does not have the strength to pass food directly into the stomach.  The food tends to accumulate in the throat and is often regurgitated. It can be treated with liquid diets and having the dog eat in a standing position.
Goitre:
Enlargement of the thyroid due to iodine deficiency. It can cause lethargy, dull coat, increase in weight,  decreased libido and lower body temperature, and is caused by an all-meat diet.
Skin:
Atopic Dermatitis (Wire-Haired Terrier): An allergic skin disorder.  See skin diseases in dogs.
Fox Terrier (Wire):

The Fox Terrier needs a great deal of exercise.  If kept indoors, it tends to develop eczema.  This aggressive Terrier is often bitten in fights with other dogs.  Have disinfectant and bandages on hand for its wounds.  The female has a tendency to have false pregnancies.
